Growing Young

Did you know that we can choose how we want to age? This program is designed to show how anyone can stay feeling young and vibrant. The gentle techniques target poor posture, chronic pain, back & joint issues, hip & knee replacements, loss of energy & mobility and prevent muscle atrophy. Growing Young is suitable for everyone, no matter their age. Exercises include mostly chair based and some standing.

Zumba is an aerobic based activity using Latin dance steps and is suitable for all fitness levels. Ditch the workout and join the Dance Party!

Series of 6 Health & Wellbeing Workshops

Session 1: Fridays, April 5th – May 17th (6 weeks) from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.

Session 2: Fridays, May 31st – June 28th (5 weeks) from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.

This health and wellbeing series will give you the tools needed to live a more mindful, calmer and overall healthier lifestyle. You will learn about meditation, healing physically, emotionally and spiritually and how to remove stress from your lifestyle. Each session includes meditation practice.

Must have prior meditation experience or have taken intro to meditation to attend this workshop series.

New pickleball members MUST already know how to play OR sign up for our introductory lessons which will be available on the first Wed. and Fri. of May, and June from 1:45 – 2:45 p.m. at SHCC.
Interested parties should contact the Centre 204-987-8850 first to sign up for the lessons.

Pickleball Drop-in Policy

Please note that in order to ensure that we do not have an excessive number of players for any group, drop-in players will not be permitted to play on that day, in that time slot, if ——-

– by the time play begins there are 28 or more Registered Pickleball Members already in attendance.

*Drop in fees are $3 for members, $5 for non-members. Non-members will be asked to join St. James 55+ after three drop-ins!
